Not Your Average Baja Trip
Cedros trips are often associated with traditional Baja travel. This expedition is intentionally different.
We built this as a premium, fully hosted experience that removes the typical friction of remote Baja logistics. Private charter aircraft eliminate long drives and complicated transfers. Professional shuttle transport, equipment handling, and a dedicated on-island team means your gear and travel are managed from start to finish.
On the island, you get chef-prepared meals, a full bar, lunch and drinks on the pangas, private dock access, and professional fish processing with vacuum sealing for the return flight.
This is a high-service expedition built around maximizing time in the water and keeping everything else easy.
Why Cedros
Cedros Island is known as the Land of the Yellowtail. Cold Pacific currents, thriving kelp structure, and limited access create consistent hunting conditions and nonstop opportunity.
Target species can include:
- Yellowtail
- White Sea Bass
- Broomtail Grouper
- Black Sea Bass
- Halibut, Former world record was shot here
Travel and Logistics
This expedition is turnkey from Southern California.
- Shuttle transport to Ensenada with professional drivers
- Private charter aircraft from Ensenada to Cedros Island (approximately 1 hour 20 minutes)
- Equipment can be staged ahead of arrival so everything is ready on the island
- Weights are provided on the island
Diving Operations
Diving is run from traditional Baja pangas with experienced local captains who know Cedros conditions and fish movement.
Typical daily window: 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM
We run 3 pangas for 6 divers, keeping the diver-to-boat ratio low and the opportunities high. Lunch and drinks are provided on the pangas daily.
Accommodations and Service
Guests stay in a private expedition lodge reserved exclusively for our group during the trip. The lodge features multiple bedrooms with two beds (occasionally three) per room, each with its own private bathroom, along with a shared kitchen, comfortable common living area, and a large outdoor patio overlooking the bay where guests gather between dive days.
Designed for both comfort and convenience, the space allows everyone to relax, recharge, and share the experience together after long days on the water.
Lodge Features:
• Shared rooms with individual beds
• Private dock access for daily departures
• Full bar at the accommodation
